This was a pretty slow week here in Korea.
Alot happened but at the same time not.
Last week we dropped alot of investigators that weren't progressing at all so we were excited to see how things would go in the next couple of weeks, but pretty much we've just been 전도-ing away.
This week felt like FALL!
IT WAS THE BOMB!
Seriously whoever prayed for rain, I recieved it.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
We have some seriously awesome families in our area that take care of us, and treat us like their babies.
On Tuesday night, the Billings family from UT, took us for dinner and their baby, Carter is SO adorable and the best baby I have ever seen in my life. When Sis. Billings picked us up for dinner she was like
"Oh, I baked you some brownies. Careful they're still warm!"
SHE IS HEAVEN-SENT.
On Thursday as we were tracting and visiting members, we stopped and grabbing some potping sou, and they had virgin-mojito ones, so of course we had to try it, and it was DELICIOUS!
On Friday, we went to June and Ann's english academy - (we help out their about 3xmonth), this week we learnt how to make 김봅 which is pretty much the equivalent of sushi but it was DELICIOUS!
On Saturday there was a ward activity, out in the boonies. It was SO gorgeous there! We all sat under these little huts eating chicken... literally just chicken parts... so.much.meat.
It was seriously such a dream come true though. After finishing eating everyone just sat around and sang along to the guitar and it was so much fun. My ward is seriously the best. They treat me like a princess!
On Sunday, an American family that works at K-16, wanted to come check out a legitimate Korean ward (they attend an english branch) and they were a little in over their heads. Haha they enjoyed it I think, but it can be a little overwhelming...
Then the best part of our week.....
A MEMBER BOUGHT US A FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the best thing in the entire world...
We don't sweat when we wake up...
We don't sweat when we do studies...
We don't sweat when we're standing still, doing nothing......
THE.GREATEST.THING.EVER!
Korea is starting to be less "weird" and much more "normal" to me now. The people here are awesome and so friendly all the time. (Unless they're missionaries from other churches). Korea is still going great! I feel all the support I have back home and I appreciate it so much!
LOVE YOU ALL,
SISTAH P. xo
