This is the beginning of my new life, with a new name. (Jokes... still Brooke, hmm.. SISTER PARCELLS), BUT this week I received my new Korean name. 강 = "kung" = river 아름 = "ah-rum" = beautiful In other news this week I had my first "Bible Bash", not really but the lady was pretty dead-set on the truthfulness of the Bible and how the Book of Mormon isn't true. Goodtimes. It was a really good opportunity to bear our testimonies and just let her know that she has a way to find out if this is God's true word, and that is by praying. I was even able to say alot more then usual about the Gospel and how it has blessed my life, and I know that if she really wants to know, she can find out. Thursday was Temple Day!So we made the trip North of the River, and then spent the day walking around Seoul and seeing the cool markets, and things they were selling. One of the things was.... DOG. (george and murphy cover your eyes) We were just casually walking around this Farmers Market, when this full-sized Greyhound dog was in the meat cooler. This was WAY worst then the Bible-bashing. It was vile. But hey.. to each their own? Today, Sister Hong and I are going to walk beside the Han River. Which is crazy!Sometimes (all the time), I forget I'm even in Korea and then it kind of hits me.. I have 18 months to be in Korea and make it the best experience of my life. I'm SO happy to be in Korea, learning Korean and loving life. (can I say Korea once more?) I love you all, now go do something nice for someone else! 사랑해요! love, 강아름
