Wellllllllllllllll...... TRANSFER CALLS ARE THIS WEEK!
Its so strange that I'm almost done my greenie training already, time really flies by out here.
This week was nice and cool because we had Alot of rain! Woo!
This week was TEMPLE WEEK!
The Seoul Korea Temple is absolutely stunning inside and its always such a joy to go!
Another big part of this week was how I can now eat 김치 without dying!
Koreannnnnn fooooooodddd woooooooooo!
We had our usual English class on Saturday from 2 until 3:30 and I got to work with this little girl named, Amy.
But I got to teach her FRENCH!
It was super super fun to brush up on my french skills and see what I could/couldn't remember.
She is the smartest 11 yr-old! Fluent in Korean, English and now working on French. Her memory makes me green with envy because I'm still here in Korea, struggling my way through the language. But it is going better! :)
We had another really good meeting this time with 심연선 and her husband. They invited us over for lunch one day. Lunch was a delicious variety of Korean fried rice, tomatoes, black beans, ginger mochi, and instant spagetti. We had a really interesting conversation with her and her husband, and they started speaking to eachother in Japanese and it was the best. She's doing pretty good! Beating the Cancer! Woo! She went through Chemo last wednesday and we saw her on Saturday, and she looked really exhausted, so we just continue to pray for her and hope for the best!
"God does notice us, and he watches over us. But it is usually through another person that he meets our needs"
-President Spencer W. Kimball
This quote really resonated with me in church yesterday... as I was sitting in church wondering how the heck I've survived almost 2 transfers in Korea...
...and it seriously all has to do with my amazing trainer.
SHE IS THE BEST!
She is the most patient, understanding, funny person I've ever met and I'm so grateful to of spent almost 3 months with her in this crazy land of KOREA! Any of my needs in life (at the moment) have totally been met because I have the best "mother" out here in the mission field.
I am so blessed.
